my doctor is such a slacker, went MIA and got another guy to fit the splint for me. only popped by the cubicle once in a while to check. damn slack!! the fitting part was quite painful, plus the splint didnt fit very well. and the splint is so gross and uncomfortable. haiz guess will need some time to really get used to it every night. the poor doctor spent about an hour trying it to make it more fitting. drill the splint, insert the splint, open, bite, pull off the splint, drill, insert... repeat the same procedure for about an hour. he had to get someone to see his another patient for him because of me. anw my teeth were sore from all the pulling. and i almost felt asleep on the chair, had lesson from 8 in the morning! but he's quite nice lar, kept apologising when i said it's painful, and that today's session dragged until past 5.30. and i have to go back next week again. :( |
